Registration guide – Plugit Charge
This is how you register as a user of the Plugit Charge app and, if necessary, request charging permission or order an RFID tag.

1. Download the app and register

Download the Plugit Charge app
You can find the app on the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). Search for ‘Plugit Charge’.

Create a user account
Register as a new user using your email address. Confirm your email address via the registration link.

Add a payment method
Add your payment card when you register or straight afterwards in your profile settings.
CHARGE PERMISSION
Requests for charging permissions are processed within a few working days. Once your request has been approved, you will receive an invitation to join the charging permission group via the app.
2. Request charging permission

Open your profile in the app
Log in and go to your profile via the app’s bottom menu.

Go to Charging permissions and groups
You can find this in the Profile section.

Open the menu and ask for permission
Select ‘Request charging permission’.

Select the type of case
Scroll down and select either ‘Charging location’s charging permission’ or ‘Charger charging permission’, depending on which applies to your situation.

Please enter the required information
Enter the charger’s ID number (e.g. FI12345). If you are applying for access to a charging location, this will be identified by the charger’s ID.
The type of charging permission depends on the type of charger you are using to charge:
Charger charging permission
The permission is granted for a single specific charger.
A typical example: a housing association (As Oy) where each resident has their own charger.
You will need the charger’s ID number (in the format FI12345), which can be found on the charger.
Charging location’s charging permission
Access is granted to the entire charging area, where the charger is available for everyone to use.
Typical examples: properties and workplaces.
All you need is the charger’s single ID number (in the format FI12345), which can be found on the charger.
(Please note that you may also need separate permission from the property owner or your employer.)
TAG ORDER
3. Order a charging tag (RFID)
If you wish, you can order a charging tag (RFID), which you can use when charging your car.

Go to Charging tags
In the app: Profile → Charging tags → Order a charging tag.

Enter your delivery address
Enter your home address in the form that appears and click ‘Order’. Your tag will be sent to your home by post.
Done! ✅
Once your charging permission has been approved, you can start charging.
First connect the charging cable to your car, then to the charging point, and log in using the app or an RFID tag.
