To Helen’s EV charging customers – information about the transition

Helen’s EV charging business has been transferred to Plugit

The transfer of Helen’s electric vehicle charging business to Plugit Finland Oy took place on 31 August 2026.

We aim to integrate Helen’s charging points into the Plugit charging network as soon as possible, after which Helen’s charging customers will be able to continue using their familiar charging points via the Plugit Charge app or Plugit RFID tag.

Helen will continue to provide its services during the transition period. The aim of the transition period is to ensure that customers and partners experience the smoothest and most disruption-free continuity of service possible.

On this page, you’ll find further information on how to prepare for the upcoming changes, as well as answers to the most frequently asked questions. We’re happy to welcome Helen’s charging customers to Plugit!

Charging on public network

The transfer of Helen’s electric vehicle charging business to Plugit Finland Oy took place on 31 August 2026.

We will connect Helen’s charging points to the Plugit charging network as soon as possible, after which Helen’s charging customers will be able to start using the familiar charging points via the Plugit Charge app or Plugit RFID tag. Helen will continue to provide its services during the transition period.

Plugit aims to transfer the public charging points from Helen to the Plugit Charge app as soon as possible. The charging points will gradually be removed from the Oma Helen app as the charging stations are rebranded as Plugit.

To ensure your charging continues without interruption and so that you can make full use of the entire charging network in future, please download the Plugit Charge app already now.

1. Download the Plugit Charge app, register and add your payment card details. Helen’s charging points will appear in the Plugit app shortly.

2. If you wish, order a Plugit charging tag (RFID tag). If you would like to start charging using the tag rather than the app, you can order it via the app. Please note that, due to the transfer, there may be a delay in the delivery of tags.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to do anything straight away?
Download the Plugit Charge app and sign up. Please add your payment card to the app, so you can easily charge your vehicle across the entire charging network in future!

By when will Helen’s charging points have been transferred to Plugit?
All charging points in Helen’s public charging network will be transferred to Plugit’s operation by 31 December 2026. Our aim is to integrate Helen’s charging points into Plugit’s charging network as soon as possible.

How do I know if the charge point has already moved?
You can see the change on each charging point.

Will I still be able to use the Helen app or RFID tag in future?
Yes, you will, until the charging point has been transferred to Plugit. After that, you’ll need to start the charging process using the Plugit Charge app or a Plugit RFID tag.

Helen Company Card

This section is for you if you or your company has a Helen Company Card for public charging points.

The transfer of Helen’s electric vehicle charging business to Plugit Finland Oy took place on 31 August 2026.

We aim to integrate Helen’s charging points into the Plugit charging network as soon as possible, after which Helen’s charging customers will be able to start using the familiar charging points via the Plugit Charge app or an RFID tag.

Helen will continue to provide services during the transition period. You can continue to use Helen’s RFID tags until the charging points have been transferred to Plugit. The charging points will gradually disappear from the Oma Helen app as the charging stations are rebranded under Plugit.

To ensure your charging continues without interruptions, please submit your Business Charge Account application to Plugit as soon as possible.

  2. Please wait for us to contact you; Plugit will begin processing the applications from 14.9.2026. We aim to process all applications as soon as possible.

Helen’s EV charging operating service customers

This section is for you if your housing association, property or business uses Helen’s EV charging operating service in a private property (Helen Kiinteistölataus).

The transfer of Helen’s electric vehicle charging business to Plugit Finland Oy took place on 31 August 2026.

No action is required from customers for this arrangement to take effect. Helen will continue to provide services during the transition period. We will be in touch with the contact person responsible for your property’s EV charging during September and will provide further information on timetables and the next steps. A warm welcome to you as our customer!

Nothing – Helen will continue to provide services during the transition period. Plugit will be in touch with you during September.
